Candidates Testing through WeProctor

How long should I plan for the testing appointment?
Testing sessions generally last between 3 to 4 hours, though the duration may vary depending on the referring agency's requirements. To reduce the time spent in the session, be sure to complete all pre-test materials in advance, which are provided in your confirmation email prior to your appointment.

Where is the testing and the interview conducted?
All evaluations with PSPS through WeProctor are conducted remotely. Testing is conducted through Zoom for Healthcare video conferencing.

Can I take the test using my phone or tablet?
No. You must use a computer with a working webcam to complete your testing. While a phone or tablet can serve as a video source if your computer lacks a webcam, testing cannot be completed on a mobile device or tablet.

Who should I contact if I have any questions about the process?
If you are testing via WeProctor, you may reach out to weproctor@weproctor.net with any questions you may have related to the testing process. Please contact the agency or the psychologist’s office directly for any questions you have about the interview portion of your evaluation.

Can I take the test/attend the interview evaluation using my phone or tablet?
No. You must use a computer with a working webcam to complete your testing and interview. While a phone or tablet can serve as a video source if your computer lacks a webcam, testing cannot be completed on a mobile device or tablet.
Under extenuating circumstances, the interview with the psychologist may be completed using a phone or a tablet if a computer is not otherwise available.

Why am I not allowed to access my testing materials?
If your appointment was scheduled after business hours or over a weekend, please wait until the next business day for your login to become active. Also, ensure that the social security number or identifying information entered during registration is correct, as errors can prevent access.

PSPS Testing and Interview Preparation

How should I prepare for the testing/interview?
Carefully read your confirmation email, which includes detailed instructions and login information. For testing, pre-test materials such as questionnaires should be completed in advance, ideally more than 24 hours before your appointment. Make sure you have the most recent version of the Zoom application downloaded. Please also test your equipment (e.g., computer, webcam, microphone) BEFORE your appointment to minimize the risk of technical difficulties occurring.
What do I need for the testing appointment?
Make sure that all forms and questionnaires are fully completed and submitted prior to your testing appointment. Required documents can be found linked in the first confirmation email you receive when your testing appointment is scheduled. Incomplete submissions may result in your appointment being canceled or rescheduled. Instructions for the one-on-one interview with the doctor will be emailed immediately following your testing session.

What if I don’t have access to a computer?
Access to a computer/laptop with a webcam and a reliable internet source is required to test with us. Do you have a friend or family member that you may borrow one from? You may also try reaching out to your local library to see if private rooms and equipment are available for use.

Communication and Scheduling

How do I schedule my appointment?
All scheduling must be initiated through your agency. You should have received a unique scheduling link from your agency contact. If you did not, please reach out to your agency directly—PSPS cannot schedule appointments without this referral.
How can I reschedule or cancel my testing/interview appointment?
To modify your testing appointment, click the "Cancel/Change Appointment" link located at the bottom of your confirmation email. Changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance. If you happen to make a change to your appointment without a 24-hour notice, you will be charged a non-refundable rescheduling fee. This fee will also be collected if you present to your appointment in an inappropriate location or violate any of the interview instructions provided to you. Emergency changes within 24 hours must be coordinated through your agency, who can contact us directly.

Evaluation Results and Privacy

Will I receive a copy of my results?
No. All evaluation reports are the exclusive property of the agency that requested the evaluation. PSPS cannot release results to candidates or to other agencies. Any information shared from the evaluation is solely at the discretion of your hiring agency.

I have tested before with PSPS. Can my old report be reused for a new agency?
Unfortunately, no. Evaluations are tailored to the specific position and agency at the time of testing. A previous report cannot be transferred or reused, even if completed recently. If you are actively applying with multiple agencies, contact our office at records@psspc.net for case-specific guidance.

When will I hear back from my agency?
Once your evaluation is complete and submitted, all further updates will come directly from the hiring agency. PSPS does not provide updates on hiring status and cannot respond to inquiries about your application progress.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Not completing pre-test materials ahead of time
This will delay your evaluation and could lead to rescheduling or agency notification of non-compliance.

Not testing out your equipment ahead of time
You should have the latest version of the Zoom app downloaded and confirm your webcam and microphone are functional before your scheduled appointment. Zoom has online resources that can be used to fully test your equipment.
Incomplete job history
Your Disclosure and Supplemental Form must include all employment history within the past 10 years to present.
Missing or inaccurate information
Double-check that you have correctly entered your last four digits of your SSN, agency name, and job title. Errors here can delay your evaluation and interview.
