Brittney Holcomb Ph.D.​

Brittney Holcomb, Ph.D. received her B.A. in Psychology in 2011 and her M.S. in Educational Psychology-Community Counseling in 2013 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Idaho State University in 2019. Her doctoral dissertation focused on factors influencing impulsive decision-making in college men. She has extensive experience in correctional psychology, which she gained through graduate research, assessment, and treatment, as well as from working for the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship focused on forensic assessment with the Wisconsin Forensic Unit. She has provided expert witness testimony in Wisconsin for competency to proceed evaluations.
Dr. Holcomb holds membership with the Wisconsin Psychological Association (WPA). Within the WPA, she is an active member in the Forensic Correctional Interest Section wherein she served as the chairperson from 2019 to 2021.
She is currently licensed in Wisconsin and holds the PSYPACT credential.
